A wealth for the maintenance of our meadows and the fertilization of the vines
Since 2017, Gérard Bougès has developed a passion for the Galloway cattle breed.
These cows, of Scottish origin, are well adapted to the Médoc oceanic climate and its marshy moors.
Today the herd numbers around forty.
The presence of our herd of Galloway cows helps maintain the plots of meadows near the vineyard and provides part of the organic amendments to our vines.
They also allow a return of mixed farming to our lands and enrich the biodiversity of the territory.
